Strong Old Geuze

Our second Geuze packs a powerful punch. The alcohol content is a bit higher, over 8% ABV. This is achieved by using the same recipe as for our other lambics, but with less water, resulting in more sugars to ferment.

It is blended from one, two and four year old strong lambic, which have all aged in French red wine oaken casks for several years at our brewery. This blend referments in the bottle and has been simmering for another 10 months before its release. Characterized by it's typical sour and sweet balancing act, it is slightly sweeter than our regular Geuze due to the higher alcohol content. Highly enjoyable, and perfect to share with friends and family.
